Guide to the Bachelor Party

[ Parties Index ]
email this to a friend

The bachelor party allows the bridegroom and his best male friends the opportunity to spend quality time together before the big day.

  • Usually hosted by the best man

  • The groom's male attendants and male friends are usually invited

  • Traditionally, the bachelor party is held the night before the day of the wedding. However, to prevent the groom from looking like a zombie the next day, this particular custom is beginning to wane.

  • Activities can range from the traditional gentleman's club to the challenging paintball competition.

  • The fathers of the bride & groom are not traditionally invited to the bachelor party. They may be invited if it is a bachelor dinner, but not usually to the party.

  • If you need great ideas on what to do at the bachelor party, please look at our guide "Ideas for the Bachelor Party."
