Tell us a little about the expertise of your professional staff that will guarantee the bridal couple a successful reception.

Well, the Scotto Brothers have been in the restaurant business for over thirty years and have been catering
for twenty years. The lessons that we've learned over the years are instilled upon all our staff members. The
thing we try to instill the most is "sell what we deliver, nothing more, nothing less." Don't bend the
truth, don't exaggerate the truth. We show you what we have and we tell you what we will give. And that's
what you'll receive on the day of your reception. So it's a matter of competence that we try to instill
in our clients.

Do you have a personal consultant that will work with the bride through the whole process?

Yes. It's in stages. Upon looking at the facility your first time in, you will work with one of our
sales personnel. They will present the facility to you, view menus, and go over the additional services
that you would receive. Upon signing a contract, you'll be given an appointment to speak with our party
coordinator. Her job is to eliminate the stress of the planning process in itself. In addition, provide the couple with leads in
regards to videography, photography, DJ's, or bands, entertainment as a whole, limousines, tuxedos, gowns,
etc.
We've shopped all of the services that I've just previously
mentioned. We've monitored numerous companies on how they handled their phone traffic, sent numerous people
out to shop the facilities and got a feel for, again, how a client was received and taken care of through
each stage of the booking process with regards to each one of those services.
By becoming a
recommended service, that vendor becomes part of our company in a sense. The biggest reason for that is
a wedding is a combination of all the services. The better
we all fit together, the better the wedding is going to be. It's as simple as that. If the right hand
knows what the left hand is doing, everything's fine.
So the party coordinator's position is created to
1) make the planning process overall easier for our brides and grooms and, 2) ensure that the
services that are going to be coming into our facility are professional and have a understanding of how
we operate so the overall day becomes smoother.

Can a bridal couple contract other wedding vendors for their cake and alcohol or any other sorts such as that?

They can for their cake. Alcohol, something of that nature, no. Alcohol wouldn't really be an issue
because I could get anything on the market that anybody would want. In terms of food, sometimes brides and
grooms may want to bring in their own food to save money.
For example, our big item is a seafood boat
which is a nine foot rowboat that has shrimps, clams, oysters, and, sometimes, lobsters. People have contacts
where they can bring in the seafood and get it at cost. And they ask us to display it. Those things
I'm reluctant to do. I will do it if its evident that this is what is ultimately going to please the client. But I am reluctant to do it because I don't take the responsibility of the freshness of the
food.
Also, in today's day and age, it becomes a little bit of a legal thing where waivers have
to be signed regarding who supplied the food. If anything were to arise from that particular food
being served, the supplier or, ultimately, the bride and groom would have to bear the responsibility.
We can only be certain of what we serve and know that that is fresh and we abide by all the Health
Department rules and regulations to maintain a clean and healthy environment. I would be reluctant
to do that. But, again, as I said, if that's a major issue we can abide.
